IT Governance to exhibit at IP EXPO Europe, London

27/09/2016

IT Governance, the leader in cyber security expertise, is exhibiting at the IP EXPO Europe event at ExCeL London on 5-6 October 2016.

IP EXPO Europe is the number one IT event in Europe, showcasing senior-level insights from across the industry, as well as unveiling the latest developments in IT. IP EXPO Europe incorporates six events: Cloud Europe, Cyber Security Europe, Networks & Infrastructure Europe, Data Analytics Europe, DevOps Europe, and Open Source Europe.

Alan Calder, the founder and chief executive officer of IT Governance, said: “We are delighted to be exhibiting at IP EXPO Europe. The increasing number of cyber attacks and data breaches means that cyber security and data protection have become top agenda items for all boards and senior management teams. Organisations also need to act now to ensure they comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by May 2018 in order to avoid the tough fines associated with a data breach. This event will allow us to present delegates with a wide range of solutions to help their organisations achieve GDPR compliance and mitigate ongoing and evolving cyber threats.”

IT Governance invites delegates to visit its stand (number V13d) to learn about the latest tools, techniques and support available to help implement cyber security best practice and achieve compliance with standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, the PCI DSS and ISO 9001.

“We hope that delegates are also eager to learn about our certified GDPR training courses, which have been designed to equip individuals with the practical knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the Regulation necessary to fulfil the role of data protection officer (DPO) under the Regulation,” Alan Calder continued.

IP EXPO Europe has announced the participation of influential industry speakers to discuss key IT issues affecting today’s business. Among the event’s keynote and seminar programme speakers are Nick Bostrom, an author and the founding director of Oxford University’s Future of Humanity Institute; Mark Russinovich, the CTO of Microsoft Azure; and James Gosling, the chief software architect of Liquid Robotics.
