IT Governance offers 30% off cyber security training courses as new reports reveal increase of data breaches

15/06/2015

IT Governance, the global provider of cyber security expertise, is calling on organisations to enhance their internal cyber security management skills. This plea comes following recent revelations that the number of security incidents affecting organisations worldwide is, indeed, increasing.

According to the Global State of Information Security Survey 2015, the total number of security incidents detected by respondents climbed to 42.8 million in 2014, representing a 48% increase on the previous year.

Alan Calder, founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, says: “Cyber security management is now a core competence that all organisations must develop and nourish internally. The ability to develop policies, manage and implement processes, and educate people, is becoming a key aspect of building a strong cyber security posture.”

In a call to boost internal cyber security management skills, IT Governance, has launched a summer sale on selected training courses, which entitles delegates to 30% off the list price if they book a place on courses running in June and July. Courses include ISO 27001 Foundation Online, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer Online and ISO 27005 Risk Management.

Among the discounted courses are IT Governance: Foundations and Principles, and COBIT®5.

This offer benefits both self-funding delegates and organisations.
