Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) training course.
The
course provides a comprehensive understanding of ethical hacking, also known as penetration testing, whereby a hacker exploits an IT system with the permission of its owner to determine potential vulnerabilities.

The
Certified Ethical Hacking training course provides delegates with a comprehensive understanding of the different types of penetration tests, security audits and vulnerability assessments, and also charts the course of a typical testing roadmap. The course covers footprinting, steganography, network scanning techniques and countermeasures, system hacking methodology, and virus analysis.
“The course certification is globally recognised as the vendor-neutral qualification of choice and is an ideal first qualification for individuals seeking a career as a penetration tester. It can also particularly benefit individuals fulfilling the role of security officer or auditor security professional, and who are concerned about the integrity of the network infrastructure,” said Alan Calder.
Split across 18 modules, the five-day
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) classroom training session covers over 270 commonly-used attack technologies and software tools and demonstrates how these can be used in real-life scenarios.
While there are no pre-requisite qualifications for the course, delegates are expected to have a minimum of two years’ experience working in IT networks and systems.
Because IT Governance supports professional development, delegates are required to sit the Certified Ethical Hacker (213-50 VUE) examination at the end of the course. The four-hour examination takes a multi-choice format and is administered online by Pearson Vue.
