The one-day course takes place on 1 August 2016 and is delivered by one of IT Governance’s experienced ISO 27001 trainers and consultants. The session provides an overview of the available standards and management system documentation, the benefits of ISMS certification, the key elements of ISMS implementation project planning, and the key steps of ISO 27001 risk assessments and controls.
The course supports professional development. Upon completing the course, delegates will sit a 60-minute multiple-choice exam. Delegates who pass the exam are awarded the ISO27001 Certified ISMS Foundation (CIS F) qualification by the International Board for IT Governance Qualifications (IBITGQ). IT Governance’s IBITGQ courses are accredited to ISO 27024 by the Global Association for Software Quality (Gasq).
