2nd European Cybersecurity Forum – CYBERSEC, 26-27 September 2016 Krakow, Poland
CYBERSEC is the annual public policy conference dedicated to strategic aspects of cybersecurity. Our mission is to support and facilitate the development of strategic, cybersecurity-focused decisions for Europe. Our goal is to build a dedicated platform for co-operation among government representatives, NGO, and key private-sector organisations.
CYBERSEC is the first conference of its kind in Poland and one of just a few regular public policy conferences devoted to the strategic issues of cyberspace and cybersecurity in Europe. We promote practical recommendations that increase resilience to cyberthreats, at both micro and macro levels (specific economic sectors, countries, EU as a whole).
Through dialogue oriented and targeted approach to specific challenges, we provide a strong cross-stakeholder impulse for increased awareness and urgency in developing solutions that reach beyond national borders and enhance collaborative efforts.
In particular, our recommendations help strengthen co-operation between the Visegrad Group, the countries of the Baltic Countries and other countries of Central Europe.
CYBERSEC 2016 will focus heavily on developing stakeholder-specific guidelines, policy recommendations and educational initiatives aimed at integrating the various stakeholders, who play a critical role in Europe’s cybersecurity.
This year’s debate will be expanded to include the transatlantic dimension and special sessions dedicated to cybercrime. We are convinced that CYBERSEC 2016 will be a significant platform to summarize the issues covered by the NATO Warsaw Summit. The conference will gather more than 600 delegates, including key policy makers, the representatives of international organisations, expert circles, and leading media as well as world's leaders in the private sector.
