The Cyber Essentials certification scheme is rapidly becoming a must-have for UK businesses. IT Governance is a CREST-accredited certification body that validates all Cyber Essentials certifications with an additional vulnerability scan. This helps to ensure that your clients have the appropriate security in place to protect against the most common cyber attacks.
The certifications
Your clients will be able to choose between either the CREST-accredited Cyber Essentials or the Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
The Cyber Essentials certification process includes a self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ), an external vulnerability scan of Internet-facing networks, and the certification service itself.
The Cyber Essentials Plus certification includes all of the assessments for the Cyber Essentials certification as well as an additional internal scan and an on-site assessment.

How does the partnership work for Cyber Essentials?
Both affiliates and resellers have the ability to sell our Cyber Essentials certification solutions to their clients.
Affiliates

You promote Cyber Essentials certification services to your clients using banners and online collateral provided by IT Governance.

You earn a commission for each client that purchases the Cyber Essentials certification service from IT Governance as a result of your promotional activities.

Resellers

You retain control of your client relationships and manage the entire application process on their behalf.

How is the certification process managed?
All Cyber Essentials certifications are managed through our CyberComply online portal, which makes the certification process nice and easy. The portal helps our reseller partners apply for, submit and track Cyber Essentials certifications on behalf of their clients. Alternatively, you can purchase Cyber Essentials certification credits that you give to your clients, allowing them to manage the service themselves.
