During this Instructor-Led Virtual Course, participants will learn the principles and core elements of the Service Capability approach to IT Service Management, as well as focusing on the processes, roles and activities, and their execution throughout the Service Lifecycle. An interactive approach is used that combines lecture, discussion, and case study experience to prepare participants for the optional certification exam: ITIL® 2011 Intermediate Service Operation.
Individuals who require a detailed understanding of the Service Operation processes and how they may be used to enhance the quality of IT service support within an organization.
Candidates can expect to gain competencies in the following areas upon successful completion of the course:
This course prepares the participant for the official ITIL 2011 Service Operation Exam (optional). This 90-minute exam comprises eight (8) multiple choice, scenario-based, gradient-scored questions. The passing score is 70%. Students passing the exam at the end of the class will receive the ITIL 2011 Service Operation certificate in IT service management.
