This distance learning course is a modular recording of our popular one-day EU GDPR Foundation classroom course, which provides a comprehensive introduction to the GDPR and a practical understanding of the implications and legal requirements for organisations of any size.

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides a single, harmonised data privacy law for the EU. It aims to prevent the loss of personal data by improving data security for all individuals living in EU member states. The GDPR came into force on 25 May 2018, and organisations that fail to comply face fines of up to 4% of annual turnover or €20 million – whichever is greater.

Delivered by the CEO and founder of IT Governance Ltd Alan Calder, the training sessions are built on the foundations of our extensive practical experience gained advising on compliance with data privacy laws and related information security standards, such as ISO 27001.

EU GDPR F online exam

You will receive a voucher valid for six months for the EU GDPR F exam when you buy this course. This is an ISO 17024-accredited, 60-minute, multiple-choice exam set by IBITGQ and is taken online. There is no extra charge for the exam.

• The exam uses automated remote proctoring.
• You will be monitored online through your webcam and your results will be confirmed once the footage of your examination has been reviewed by the certification body.
• System requirements:
• Internet access for the full duration of the exam.
• A Flash-compatible webcam (built-in or external).
• Adobe Flash Player installed and activated.
• Proctoring software downloaded and installed on your computer.
• Important: Before purchase, please check with your IT department that you have permission to download software on your computer.
